|  | |  | Policy Update / La Actualización de las Políticas On July 12, after years of organizing by our partners, Mayor Tishaura Jones signed into law a Right to Counsel for tenants in St. Louis City. This new law offers guaranteed legal representation, ensuring that tenants are freely provided with a lawyer to navigate their eviction proceedings. Legal representation for tenants is the means to ensure that all tenants, including immigrant tenants, are heard and not evicted.
