Book Club / Club de lectura Join us for the first meeting of our new book club on Friday, July 8 from 3-4pm. As a part of our effort to become an antiracist and intersectional organization, we will be meeting weekly to discuss books that align with our mission and vision. For the month of July, we will be diving into "Undoing Border Imperialism" by Harsha Walia. "Undoing Border Imperialism" is available for free online as well as at St. Louis Public Libraries. Conociendo La Migra *Rescheduled* The imperialistic intervention of the US in Central America, and the impunity against those responsible, has contributed immensely to the socioeconomic conditions that produce migration to the US. In the 3rd edition of Conociendo La Migra on July 19, from 6:30-8pm, we will discuss some key events in order to understand the relationship between the flow of immigrants from Central America and the international policy of the US. We will also speak about present day resistance movements and how we can join in solidarity. The event will be through zoom. The ISPN's monthly general meetings focus on bringing service providers together to connect and participate in cross-collaborative work.
