NEW! Starting July 5, the St. Louis County Department of Human Services and the Salvation Army Family Haven will partner to operate a cooling shelter at 10740 Page Avenue in St. Louis County. NEW! No Kid Hungry Missouri is offering competitive grants of up to $5,000 to increase access to after school meals programs supported through the USDA's Child and Adult Care Food Program. This is a grant opportunity available for organizations who are eligible to serve free after school meals to children via USDA programs. The application closes on August 2nd. NEW! Registration is still open for the foreign language court interpreter certification testing. The Office of State Courts Administrator (OSCA) is offering court interpreter testing in Jefferson City on September 25. You must have attended their two day orientation or passed both sections of the written exam to register. The oral exam fee is $200 for Spanish, $225 for French, Portuguese and Somali; $300 for Arabic, Bosnian, Korean and Russian, and $325 for Mandarin and Vietnamese. Cost for all other languages will be determined upon request. Prior to registering, please take a moment to read the Oral Exam Candidate Information Booklet found here. The Summit is designed to build on the success of the inaugural summit in 2019 when over 500 advocates for equity gathered together.
